Woodbury covers the area from Irvine Boulevard to Trabuco Road and in between Sand Canyon and Jeffrey Road. This community is separate from Woodbury East. There are over 4,000 homes with a variety of architectural styles such as formal Italian, Cottage, French, Provence, Santa Barbara, Spanish, Tuscan, and Monterey. Woodbury is comprised of a variety of neighborhoods with single family residences, townhomes, and courtyard style homes. There are over 20 subdivisions that include Juliet’s Balcony, Four Quartets, Cachette, Mille Fleurs, Stonetree Manor, Treo, San Marino, Montecito, La Casella, and Esplanade. Each one has its own amenities including swimming pools, basketball courts, and tot lots.
Students in this community are served by the Irvine Unified School District with facilities like Woodbury Elementary School, Jeffrey Trail Middle School, and Irvine High School. The new Portola High School is set to open in 2016. This region is also home to the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Irvine Valley College.
There are eight neighborhood parks as well as five gardens. The Commons is a 30-acre recreational spot with swimming pools, beach volleyball courts, and a water garden. Within The Commons is the Woodbury Community Park which has a community building, two baseball diamonds, two basketball courts, and a soccer field.
On the east end of the community you’ll find the Woodbury Town Center which offers a nursery school, several banks, a drug store, two grocery stores, home improvement stores, and a gas station. There are other shopping centers throughout Irvine as well as several golf clubs.
Irvine is considered to be one of the safest cities in Orange County. Many successful start up businesses have come from the area, along with films and entertainment.
